Good morning. This is your Tesla Daily Update for Monday, October fifth, twenty twenty-six.

Because United States markets are closed for the weekend, this edition focuses on the latest verified developments from Friday and Saturday, plus the most recent trading session.

The biggest story is Tesla's third-quarter delivery report. The company delivered four hundred eighty-six thousand, five hundred thirty-two vehicles and produced four hundred sixty-four thousand, three hundred ninety-one. Deliveries were about two percent below the unusually strong year-earlier quarter, but they still came in well above the company-compiled analyst consensus. The gap between deliveries and production also suggests Tesla reduced some existing inventory. Investors will now turn to the October twenty-first earnings report for details on pricing, margins, cash flow, and the cost of Tesla's artificial intelligence and autonomy expansion.

The second story concerns Robotaxi operations after dark. Elon Musk said one limitation on later service hours is the challenge of detecting small pets in low-light, low-contrast conditions. Tesla recently extended Austin service until eleven in the evening, but the comment highlights a central engineering question for the company's camera-based approach: how reliably it can identify difficult hazards at night without lidar. The important measure will be verified safety performance as the fleet, geography, and operating hours expand.

Tesla also refreshed the Model Three lineup in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Every version now gets a sixteen-inch center display. The Performance model is listed with three hundred sixteen miles of estimated range and five hundred twenty-eight horsepower, while the Premium all-wheel-drive version accelerates from zero to sixty miles per hour in three point eight seconds. Base prices were reported as unchanged.

Finally, Tesla shares closed at three hundred seventy dollars and fifty-nine cents on Friday, October second. That was up sixteen dollars and forty-eight cents, or about four point six-five percent, from the prior trading session. The sharp gain followed the stronger-than-expected delivery report, but the next earnings call will determine whether operating results support the market's improved sentiment.

That is all for today's Tesla update. Follow the published sources for continuing developments, and stay tuned for the next edition.
