Good morning, this is your Tesla Daily Update for Saturday, September twenty-sixth, twenty twenty-six.
Because markets are closed for the weekend, today's edition focuses on the latest verified developments from Friday and the most recent trading session.
First, Tesla has officially launched high-volume production of the Semi at its dedicated factory in Sparks, Nevada. Tesla says the one point eight million square foot plant can eventually build fifty thousand electric Class Eight trucks per year, with customer deliveries starting now. The production version uses Tesla's four-six-eight-zero battery cells, redesigned drive units, electric steering, and a shared thermal-management system. The company lists ranges of roughly three hundred twenty-five miles for the standard model and five hundred miles for the long-range model. The milestone is important, but investors should still watch the actual production ramp, pricing, and fleet operating data rather than relying only on stated factory capacity.
Second, Tesla's European rollout of Full Self-Driving Supervised faces another delay. Electrek reports that the European Union's October sixth committee agenda includes continued discussion of the Dutch approval request, but no vote. Because the committee does not meet again until December, an EU-wide decision now appears unlikely before then. The debate remains focused on speed-limit behavior, driver attention, and performance in difficult road conditions. That means the regulatory path, not just software capability, remains a key constraint on European expansion.
Third, a newly published Tesla patent describes a hidden two-piece active rear wing that appears designed for the next-generation Roadster. The filing says the wing could deploy in less than three seconds and generate up to seven hundred kilograms of downforce at high speed. It is an engineering filing, not a confirmed production specification, so the real test will come at Tesla's planned Roadster unveiling on October first.
Looking at the market, Tesla shares closed at three hundred seventy-two dollars and eleven cents on Friday, down five dollars and eighty-three cents, or about one point five-four percent, from Thursday's close. The stock move was modest, but the Semi launch, European autonomy timetable, and upcoming Roadster event give investors several execution milestones to track.
That's all for today's Tesla update. Stay informed, stay objective, and join us again for the next edition.
