📝 Today’s Tesla News Summary

1. Q1 2026 Delivery Consensus: 365,645 Vehicles Expected
Tesla published its Wall Street consensus for Q1 2026 deliveries. The figure implies an 8% YoY increase — but that comparison is misleading, as Q1 2025 was Tesla’s weakest quarter due to Model Y Juniper changeover. Compared to Q4 2025’s 418,227 vehicles, this represents a 13% sequential decline. Full-year 2026 consensus: 1.69 million vehicles, a mere 3.3% increase over 2025. Tesla has now posted two consecutive years of declining deliveries for the first time in its history.

2. BYD Outsells Tesla in Europe for Second Consecutive Month
BYD registered 17,954 vehicles in Europe in February vs. Tesla’s 17,664. Year-to-date, BYD leads Tesla by more than 10,000 units. Tesla’s January EU registrations crashed 17% while the broader EV market grew 14%.

3. Boring Company Expands to Three New US Cities
Elon Musk’s Boring Company announced it will build free underground Loop tunnels for New Orleans, Baltimore, and Dallas — a surprise expansion of its urban tunnel network.
